This is a magnificent pendant. Crafted in 15ct gold (marked 15ct Gold on its reverse) it features a shimmering amethyst of approximately 12ct, surrounded by 26 lustrious and well matched seed pearls.

This stunning piece of history, dated to the late 1800s measures 1.5m x 2.2cm. It weighs 4.95g.

Amethysts have been viewed through the ages as a stone of peace. Some believe the calming presence of the stone produces soothing dreams. Amethysts have also been thought to have protective, healing, and purifying powers.
